Success story
From an idea to a shop people can actually order from
Abeer Mneimneh — Customer Relationship Executive with a dream of her own business and no idea where to start on social media → founder of Juleeta, an online shop for accessories, gifts and customizable gift boxes, running the Shopify store and the social media herself.

Before Gradezilla
Abeer was — and still is — working as a Customer Relationship Executive. She had a clear dream: a business of her own that she could promote herself. What she didn’t have was a starting point. Her biggest fear was not knowing how social media works for a business, or where to begin.
Why digital marketing
The motive was the dream itself. If she was going to build her own brand, she wanted to be the one who could market it — the page, the posts, the ads, the product descriptions — instead of depending on someone else for every step.
The moment it clicked
It clicked while she was building Juleeta’s Shopify store. Choosing which products to feature and writing their descriptions made her think about what a customer would see and feel when they landed on the site. That was when she realised she could use what she had learned in the course to turn an idea she was excited about into a real online business.
Where she is today
Today Abeer is the founder of Juleeta, an online shop for accessories, gifts and fun everyday finds. She handpicks the products, puts together customizable gift boxes, and manages the Shopify store and the social media herself — you can find Juleeta on Instagram and Facebook. “I’m especially proud that I took what I learned in the digital marketing course and used it to launch my own business,” she says. “Building the Shopify store myself made it feel real. Juleeta went from an idea I was excited about to a shop people could actually visit and order from.” The part of the course she got the most out of: ads and campaigns.
“Go for it — for sure.”
