Success story
From the newsroom to the strategy room
Antonella Zakhia — News Editor & Writer (VDL News, MTV Lebanon) → Strategic CRM Manager at Voxera (Kuwait), digital strategist for high-profile clients and artists.

Before Gradezilla
Antonella’s world was the newsroom. A Journalism & Information Sciences graduate of the Lebanese University, she worked as a news editor and writer for VDL News (Sawt Kol Loubnan) and MTV Lebanon, and reached the semi-finals of MTV’s debate show Sar el Waet. Storytelling, research and high-stakes media were her foundation.
Why digital marketing
As audiences moved online, she saw that stories no longer live only on air. She wanted to pair her editorial instincts with data-driven marketing — and chose Gradezilla for its CPD-accredited program and the Meta, Hootsuite and Canva certification track.
The honest fear
Coming from journalism and political debate, her biggest doubt was the technical side: “Will I be able to master data-driven analytics and campaign optimization?” She wanted training that wasn’t theoretical — practical tools she could apply immediately for real results.
The moment it clicked
Everything changed in the Social Listening and campaign-tracking modules with Hootsuite and Meta — the moment she saw how data drives content strategy. A great story, she realized, becomes unstoppable when backed by precise audience targeting and performance metrics.
Where she is today
Today Antonella is Strategic CRM Manager at Voxera in Kuwait, where she manages high-level client relations and oversees digital deliverables. She previously led media & marketing at the International Center for Geopolitical & Economic Research (ICGER), and she runs social media strategy for high-profile clients and artists.
“Hesitation is the only barrier standing between where you are and your next major career breakthrough. Digital marketing is the universal language of modern growth.”
